Nan came up with no fewer than 12 shutter designs for us that ranged from traditional to more unusual. Now we must decide which one, how many, what color, whether to include hardware, etc. This is so much more fun than going to a big store and just selecting from among a few styles and colors. Lunch was so good on Saturday, they came back for brunch on Sunday! Alain Ducasse, the first chef to own restaurants carrying three Michelin Stars in three cities (Le Louis XV in Monte Carlo, the Plaza Athenee in Paris, and Alain Ducasse at Essex House in New York) returned with his wife a second time for brunch at The Thornton River Grille after enjoying one of Tom’s outstanding lunches.
