Junior Brittany Clatterbuck put Rappahannock County High School’s Scholastic Bowl title in childlike perspective.
“The last time George Mason didn’t win a title," she said with a laugh, “I was probably playing with Barbies.”
Rappahannock County clinched its first Group A Bull Run District Championship with a 250-215 win over George Mason Saturday afternoon at Clarke County.
The victory also snapped the Mustangs’ nine-year hold on the district Scholastic Bowl championship.
Rappahannock County and George Mason will represent the Bull Run District in the Region B tournament on Jan. 31 in Falls Church.
