Harpsichordist Kenneth Slowik and violinist Marilyn McDonald, members of the Smithsonian Chamber Flayers who performed at the Inaugural luncheon for President Barack Obama on Jan. 20, will be in Rappahannock County Sunday, Jan. 25 for a performance.
Theatre goers will be able to enjoy a concert by Slowik and McDonald at 3 p.m. at The Theatre in Washington, Virginia on Gay Street.
The concert is the third in this season's Smithsonian at Little Washington series. For this “Brilliance of the Baroque” concert, McDonald and Slowik will play four works of Johann Sebastian Bach: the Sonata in E Major, BWV 1016, the Sonata in C Minor, BWV 1017, the Sonata in G Major, BWV 1019, and the Partita in B-flat Major, BWV 825
