NOTICE OF INTENT TO APPOINT CIVIL WAR SESQUICENTENNIAL COMMISSION COUNTY OF RAPPAHANNOCK The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors is soliciting applicants to fill volunteer positions on the Rappahannock County Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission. The Commission will be charged with planning for commemoration of the upcoming sesquicentennial by proposing local activities and coordinating with the State Commission overseeing the commemoration. Appointees must be residents of Rappahannock County and be interested in events surrounding the Civil War. It is not known at this juncture how' much time volunteers will necessarily commit to this effort. Reasonable support in terms of office supplies and the like will be provided by the County.
