Three appointments to the staff of Longwood College lor the 1957 58 session were announced today by President Francis G. Lankford, Jr. Dr Ruth B. Wilson has been appointed dean of woman to suc ceed Ruth Cleaves, who will retire at the end of the current session after serving on the Long wood staff for 15 years. Richard B Brooks has been ap pointed associate professor of ed ucation. He will succeed M. Boyd Corner who is retiring at the end of the current session after 46 years of teaching at Longwood ; College. Dr. John G. Graziani, of Farai ville, has been appointed college I physician to socceed Dr. Ray A. Moore, who is retiring from his | work at Longwood in order that ' he may devote more time to his general practice. Dr. Wilson taught in hie public schools of Pennsylvan ia. A native of Canada, she did her undergratduate work at a Pennslyvnnia teachers college. She received the master's degree from Syracuse niversity, majoring in student personnel work. Her doc i tor's degree was earned at the University of Pittsburgh in the field of religious education. Brooks is now on the faculty of the College of William and Mary. He hoid.s the master’s degree m psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and expects to complete his doctor's degree in ; education at the University of Virginia in August 1957. At Longwood College, he will teach mainly in the field of psychology.
