Ballsville Carroll Gordon left Monday for Blacksburg to attend a two-week course at VPI. Mrs. W. C. Page, of Lynchburg, and W. C. Netherland, Jr., of Rich mond. visited their parent; here during the week end. Mrs, I). E. Brown, accompanied by her sister. Mrs. Jim Reins, of North Wilkesboro, N. c . visited friends and relatives in Dutwiddie Friday. Dr. R. E. Douglas and Mrs, Doug las Blanton left Monday for several weeks stay in Macon. Ga. Because of illness, they had postponed the trip planned for last week. Mr. and Mrs Max Stone, and Maxine, were guests of Mis. II. II.
