Track Team Host To East Carolina In Meet Friday Hampden-Sydney's track squad meets East Carolina College in a dual meet today < Friday > at Death Valley, opening one of the most ambitious track and field seasons ever scheduled by the Tigers. Coach Mont Linkenauger, a track peformer during undergrad uate days at William and Mary, will be making his first start as mentor of the HrSC track pro gram. The season of seven dual meets will be climaxed on successive week ends in early May when Death Valley will be the scene of the track and field championships of both the Little 8 and Mason Dixoo Conference. Promising Season Overall, Hampden-Sydney is ex pected to press the perennial Lit tle Eight track kingpins—Roanoke College—hardest of conference schools.
