Letiermen Gene Cooke and Ed Harlow, who in 1957 arid co-cap c-ains, will be two-thirds of the outfield, with Gerald Duncan and Gem-:.- Rickman, former Farm vill*.- High performers, and Tom my Davis, a freshman product of Manchester High scrapping for the third spot. Davis and Duncan also are capable utility infielders. Coach Miller will have Bill Tynes and Joe Leafe for addi tional pitching duty, although both had limited action last sea son. The 1956 squad had a fine .340 team batting mark which pro duced a 12-run per game average. If the squad comes anywhere near that mark, and the defensive re placements come through alon the tough down-the-middle line, the Tigers will be set for another fine season. With Bridgewater.
