John son, who had a broken leg from an accident in Florida, was ad mitted to the hospital for obser vation. The driver and one other occupant of the car did not re quire hospitalization. College Students To Present Play "The Crucible" will be present ed by the Long wood Players and the Hampden-Sydney Jongleurs, Thursday. Friday and Saturday night at 8 p. m. in Jarman Au ditorium, Farmville. Based on fact, the play deals with the events leading to the trial and eventual hanging of 19 residents of Salem, Mass, in the 17th century. Tile play will be directed by D. M. Wiley, assistant professor at' Longwood, and will star Frederick Stables of Crewe and Donna Boone of Marion. Dr. J. D. Wel lard. associate professor at Long wood will play the part of Gov ernor Danforth, Other Herald area residents who will appear in the cast are J. F. Lynn and Clayton P. John son of Farmville, and William H. Shorter of Darlington Heights.
