"The individual club member is the key to club work," Mrs. William S. Murray, president of the Virginia Federation of Women's Clubs, tyld the Buckingham County Woman's Club at the March meeting last Friday. Mrs. Murray, who was introduced by Mrs. Joel Flood, president of the Alice Kyle district. spoke on the Virginia Federation and reviewed some of the accomplishments in nealth. education, legislation, and other areas since the organization came into being in 1907. She empha sized the importance of the Federa tion which represents 2,500 women in club work in Virginia. The featured speaker urged all club members to keep up to date on affairs in the State and locality. "An informed club woman is an in spired woman." she advised. Mrs. Murray suggested to survey th" community and determine what is needed to make it a better place to live. Several areas that the need ap pears greatest, according to Mrs.
