Powhatan News Powhatan American Legion aux iliary held its annual March dinner meeting in the War Memorial build ing lounge March 20. Guest speaker was Mrs. Paul Critz. department president, oi McLean. Other out of town guests and department officers were Miss Anna Dickhoff and Mrs. Grace Gordon, of FarmviUe, Mrs. Floyd Smith. Mrs. Louis Jorden and Mrs. Rose Burnette, of Richmond, Mrs. Charles Levin and Mrs. 0. W. Sheffield..of Suffolk. Entertainment was provided by Powhatan High School students Jo Elam, Nancy Hudson, Jean Heath, Betty Welday, Tommy Dalton. Jimmy Tomlinson and Larry Clark. St. Patrick’s day theme was carried out in refresh ments and table decorations. Charles Celia was in Orange Sun day.
