HD Clubs Prepare For District Meeting April 4 in Amelia Thursday, April 4, will be a red letter day for Amelia county Home Demonstration clubs. Clubs of 10 counties. Chesterfield. Dnwiddie, Prince George. Bruns wick, Powhatan and Amelia, which comprise District II of the Virginia Federation, will hold their annual meeting that day at Amelia Vet eran's Center from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This will be the first time a dis trict meeting has been held in Anuflia county and a program has beeQ planned with “Today’s Home Builjds Tomorrow’s World” for the theme. Mrs. Howard Whittington, county president, will preside. A box luncheon will be provided at , noon by the Amelia clubs. Reports will be given by Mrs. C. D. Weisiger, publicity chairman, and by the nominating committee. A presentation of “pennies for friendship” will be made by the county treasurers which will be ac Louise Morris: Jetersviile.
