USDA Starts Swine Breeding Program Recurrent Selection Method Is Used »> A breeding and selection pro gram for swine, similar to that used for increasing yields of hy brid corn, has been launched by scientists of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This breeding program is being conducted at USDA's Agricultural Research Center at Beltsville. Md. A similar program is under way at Miles City.
