Ransons Miss Josephine Maxey. of Long wood College, and F H. Maxey. of VPI. spent the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Maxey. Mr. and Mrs E. T. Patteson, Cheryl and Ivy. of Richmond, visit ed Dr. and Mrs. T. E. Patteson and A T Blake Sunday. Wallace and Cleveland Flowers visited their sister. Mrs. Vernon White, and family, of Madison Heights, over the week end. They returned Sunday, accompanied by their father, Wallace Flowers, and uncle. John Flowers, of Lynchburg. Mrs. T E. Patteson, and daugh ters, Mrs. Frank Tapscott and Mrs, Bobby Maxey. and son. Rudd Patte son. spent Monday in Richmond. Marvin Banton, and daughter. Ann Banton. and sisters, visited friends at Ransons Sunday. They moved to Curies Neck where they still reside. This writer found it difficult to identify the lovely, poised young lady. Ann has become, a teacher herself, with the brown-eyed little beginner of her Sunday School class 10 or 15 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Spencer, of Scottsvilfe. were guests of Mr. and Mrs L. W Patteson Sunday. Riley Patteson. of RPI in Rich mond, spent the week end with his parents. Jones to Manage Milling Company Randolph T. Jones, who has been associated with the Virginia department of agriculture here for the past three years, will move to Charlottesville April 1, where he has accepted a position as as sistant manager of Gleco Milling corporation. Jones is a graduate of VPI.
