Baby Beef Show Be Held
April 26 In Charlottesville
Location of Charlottesville area Baby Beef Show and Sale has been changed to MacGregor Tractor Co., on Preston Ave., instead of West Main street, as previously announced.
The sljow will start promptly at 10 a.m., calves to be judged by George Litton of VPI.
The sale will begin at 1:30 p.m. and- will be auctioned by Stan Hayworth.
Bobby Atkins and Newbill Miller are going from Rappahannock county.
Angus premia m money of the show will range from $10 for 1st, down to $1 for 8th, in each class with silver trophies for breed champions, grand champion, and best fitted and shown animals.
John S. Buckner was the breeder of Atkins’ calf; J. W. Fletcher of Miller’s calf.
Prospects are reported as ‘'favorable.”
