Some of the common errors in grammar that I hear time and time again are as follows:

He couldn't hardly go.

Such simple mistakes can defeat you. I know of a person who was refused a very attractive job because of his faulty speech. Make every effort to increase your vocabulary. A new word now anti then will go a long way toward making a good impression.
An integral part of your personality should be a sense of humility. A sarcastic, arrogant, pernicious person will soon find himself friendless. Don't be a “showoff’’
