Mr. and. Mrs. S. R. Shackelford of Peola Mills were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood at Sperryville.

Miss Frances Mitchell of Arlington was the week-end guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Mitchell, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mitchell, Jr., of Culpeper joined the family on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. John R. Reverconib visited Mr. and Mrs. M. P. Watkins in Richmond for several days last week.

Guy Burke visited his father, who has pneumonia,- at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah Burke in Berryville on Sunday.

Mrs. Corrie Peyton is a patient at Physician’s hospital, W’arrenton.

Rev. A. Paul Thompson of Sperryville was the dinner guest Sunday of Mrs. Fred Coates at Peola Mills. JVlrs. Mary Eastham of Arlington and Mrs. Granville Eastham of Falls Church were guests Wednesday of Mrs. Fannie Eastham at Flint Hill.

Miss Gladys Brown of Culpeper, Donald Highlander of Washington, D. C.; were Sunday supper guests of Mrs. John Johnson.

Miss Lillie Johnson and Mrs. Raymond Johnson attended the teachers’ meeting in Front Royal Saturday.

C. B. Johnson visited Mr. and Mrs. Russell Johnson Tuesday evening.

Mr. and Mi's. Leon Bailey spent several days this week in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Week-end guests of Mrs. George W. Settle at “Locust Grove,’’ at Flint Hill, were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Frank of Luray, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Settle, Jr., of Powhatan, and Mr. and Mrs. John A. Drake of Grosse Point, Mich.
