Letter To Editor
Since March 1 (47 days) my crew and I have attended eight different forest fires. Each fire burned anywhere from four up to 125 acres or more. This is the worst on my record since I have been fire warden. Before this I have never attended more than four fires a year. Sunday April 16, we attended two of our biggest fires this year.
1 urge the people to be more careful now than ever, because it’s so dry and windy, and fires start very easily and get a big start before yo.i can start fighting it. They are hard to control too.
