Vacancies Now Exist
In Regular Army
Corporal Harold C. Kinzer, of theU. S. Army and U. S. Air Force Recruiting Station at Culpeper, was in Washington the past week in connection with recruiting. He said that he now has vacancies in all branches of the Regular Army for direct assignment to Europe and the Far East. The U. S. Air Force is also open for enlistments Cpl. Kinzer declared.
Those interested in entering the service may get in touch^wvth Cpl. Kinzer at the Wasningtbn post office on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. Or they may apply at any time either in person or by writing to U. S. Army and U. S. Air Force Recruiting Station, 126 S. Main street, Culpeper.

Mrs. B. J. Wood * entertained the members of the Flint Hill bridge club at her home in Flint Hill Monday evening.
Mrs. Claud.; Cook won the high score prize, Mrs. .John S. Browning, second, and the traveling prize was received by Miss Minnie Williams. Others playing were Mrs. R. L. Massie, Mrs. Paul L. Miller, Mrs. G. W. Smith and Mrs. Frances' Browning.
