“All those desiring to make political speeches come early and finish before the others get there, “states the notice announcing the family re-union of the “Red Oak Johnsons” on Monday, Labor Day, September 1.
Meeting beside the Fire Tower on the Red Oak Mountain, the Johnson clan will gather, meeting on land which ,^s an original grant to the family and which has remained in the family for more than 200 years.
A picnic lunch will be held at noon and the announcement states further, “There is no age limit. Apple crates will be furnished to be used for baby pens or sitting rooms.”
