The object of the above entitled cause is to partition by one of the modes provided by law, among the heirs at law of George T. Scott, deceased, the undivided interest in that certain tract or parcel of land situated in Jackson Magisterial District (of Rappahannock County, Virginia, containing 30 acres, more or leas, of which George T. Scott died seized and possessed, and if the said property cannot be partitioned in kind, that the same may be sold for the purpose of partition and the proceeds of sale be divided among the parties entitled thereto as their interests may appear; and to ^btain such other and general relief as to equity may seem meet.
And an affidavit having been made and filed that the defendants, Marie Scott Hitt, George Scott, Richard Delbert Scott, Jr., Ralph Scott, Walter Scott, Elbert Scott, Gilbert Scott, Lucy Scott Barnes are not residents of the State of Virginia, and that there are or may be persons or heirs of George T. Scott, deceased, who may be interested in the subject to be divided or disposed of whose names, whereabouts and last known post office addresses are unknown, it is ordered that they do appear within ten days
