Jane’s Private School
Opens Tnesday
Jane’s Private School in Front Royal begins the year’s session Tuesday morning, September 2, at 9 o’cloak. The school this year is in its new location on 9th Street.
Mrs. Jane G. Williams, principal, with Miss Minnie Williams as her assistant, has charge of the kindergarten classes. The new first grade teacher is Mrs. J. H. Wilson of Strasburg, replacing Mrs. Lawrence Adams, who moved to Kentucky. Mrs. Wilson is a graduate of Towson Teachers College, Maryland and has studied at University of Pittsburgh, Columbia Teachers College, and John Hopkins University. The private school usually numbers about 50 pupils. This year there are six listed from Rappahannock: Sammie Snead, Skippy Giles, Frank and Page Moffett, Linda Cook and Ronny Chadwell.
