Mrs. T. H. Utz entertained with dinner on the lawn of her home in Estes Sunday. Little Miss Margaret Utz celebrated her seventh birthday Sunday in the home of her parents, Mf. and Mrs. T. H. Utz, having as her guests, Betty Lou Clatterbuck, Junie and jean Brown, Wade, Ressie, Bessie, Dollie, Raleigh and David Corbin, Frances and Lavania Whorton.
Jim Corbin and Harold Ray Utz were overnight guests on Sunday of their grandmother, Mrs. Henry Whorton.
After Sunday morning services at the Methodist Church Rev. and Mrs. Norman J. Flythe and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Tapp and daughter were guests of Miss Virginia Tapp.
Rev. Lewis Broughman and family of Roanoke are guests/of Mr. and Mrs, Barron.
Mrs. J. L. Walter entertained a club on Friday night.
