The Rappahannock Rockets girls’ defeated Woodstock girls’ team Fri-' day night January 20, at Sperryville auditorium, with a score of 57-8. Those playing in the girls’ team were: Forwards: Sally Dwyer, Ruby Dwyer and Dorothy C. Woodward. Guards: Frances Gilbert, Helen Coffey and Louise Cloud.

Ruby Dwyer was high-scorer, with 32 points. Dorothy Woodward scored 16 and Sally Dwyer, 9. The Rockets boys’ team defeated the Woodstock boys by scoring 77-18. Those playing on the team were Pete Clater,, Jackie Gilbert, William Armentrout, Nick Casko, Donald Groseclose, Gordon Thompson, and Cecil Jackson.
