Mrs. James M. LiMard had as her afternoon guests on Thursday Mrs. Arthur Edmonds and two daughters, Misses Becky and Dorothy Edmonds.
Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wood visited Col. and Mrs. Charles King in the Winchester Memorial Hospital on Sunday. Col. and Mrs. King were able to receive their guests in the sun parlor.
Miss Beverly Ribble of Boyce was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie Jr. from Friday until Saturday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bruce were in Winchester for the day Monday.
Mrs. George H. Davis and Mrs. B. R. Cox were in Warrenton for the ■day on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Slaughter of Front Royal were guests of his father A. J. Slaughter and Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Keyset Friday night. * Mrs. Jack Petty and daughter, Kay, were guests on Thursday of Mrs. Petty’s mother, . Mrs. R. L. Baumgardner.
Guests of Capt. and Mrs H. C. Warwick of Rockbottom over the week end were Billy Warwick, John Heggigs and Mr. and Mrs. Gaston Caperton of Richmond, who arrived on Frday. On Thursday Bernard Caperton of Charlottesville and Mrs. Austin Caperton of Slad Fork, West Virginia joined the week-end house party at Rockbottom.
Dr. Joe Dejarnett, Miss M. Rossen and Miss Ora Hopkins were Sunday g jests of Dr. Dejarnett’s sister and nephew, Mrs. Will Keyser and Joe Dejarnett of Pleasant View.
Dinner guests Sunday evening of Mi. and Mrs. Clarence Gough of Echo Hill were Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller and daughter, Evelyn Tyler aiu. Miss Irene Keyser.
Mrs. Downing Wood and daughter, Downing and Miss Irene Keyser were in Baltimore on Wednesday. Lt. Com. James Van L. DeBergh of Charleston, South Carolina spent the week end with his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth H. DeBergh at Harris Hollow Farm. Com. DeBergh brought his ship to Curtis Bay, Maryland for repairing.
Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Hickman and family “Punky” and "Daffy" left Monday for Key West, Fla., from there they will take an extended cruse. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Alan of Bluefield, West Virginia were dinner guests Sunday of Mrs. Akin’s brother in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Miller enroute from Bermuda.
Miss Caroletta Gough was an overnight guest Saturday of Miss Evelyn Tyler Miller. , Robert E. Miller left Monday for Florida where #e will spend sometime.
