Mrs. Lee Swindler entertained the Woman’s Society of Christian Service of the Methodist church at her home Wednesday evening. Mrs. Brown, the president, opened the meeting bg reading the scripture lesson followed by prayer. Mrs. GJF. Estes, a guest in the home, led the program and gave a very interesting and instructive lesson on “Good Samartans.” During the business session several plans for raising funds for local work were discussed but no definite conclusion was reached. Ten members were present and four visitors. The hostess served refreshments during the Social hour.
