Mrs. James G. Brown of Woodville was a guest on Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown at “Rock Villa."
Mr. and Mrs. John Revercomb were guests on Friday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown who also had as their guests on Saturday evening Mr. and 'Mrs. E. W. Gore, Mrs. Helen Bruce and Henry Brown. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Brown and their daughter, Miss Jean Brown were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Wayland.

Mrs. F. D. Coffey motored to Staunton on Thursday with Mr and Mrs. Lyle Rector to hear something definite about the condition^ of Mrs. Raymond Rector who is a patient ait Dejarnette's Sanatorium. They found Mrs. Rector slightly improved and later reports are that she is making further improvement. Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey Jr. were guests on Saturday night of Mr. ajj4 Mrs. Charles Corder and on Sunday they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers. Mr. and Mrs A. L. Smith of Gainesville were Sunday guests of Mrs. Smith's mother, Mrs. Helen Bruce at “Barlow " Elder and Mrs. Charles Alderton •W were guess Saturday night and Sunday of Elder and Mrs. J. H. Daily. Other guests in the Daily home on Sunday evening tfrere M«\ and Mrs. Harry ^rubaker, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Yates. Mrs. Daily who has been confined to her home by illness for the past three weeks is slightly improved.
