Misses Ebba, Beulah Hitt and Nettie Bontz were Culpeper shoppers on Thursday.
Among those who attended the Evangelistic Mission meeting at the First Methodist Church in Charlottesville on Sunday afternoon were Rev. and Mrs. pavid Menchhofer, Mrs. George W. Brown, Miss Ebba Hitt, Mrs. Ora Ramey, Mrs. Charles Reid and Mrs. Carson Lillard.
Rev. and Mrs. David Menchhofer and Mrs. Carson Lillard were supper, guests of the Misses Hitt on Sunday evening. Later Rev. Menchhofer filled his appointment at the Methodist church.
Mr. .and Mrs. F. D. Coffey,"Mrs. F. D. Coffey Jr., and Mrs. Harry Smith were in Charlottesville for the day Saturday. Mrs. Smith who was a patient at University Hospital for v treatment last week is aft the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Brown and will return to the hospital for an operation on February 6.
Mrs. Joseph B. Johnson entertained the members of her family at dinner on Sunday honoring Mr. Johnson and his grandson, Joe Gordon Payne who celebrated their birthday anniversary. Those present were Mr.' and Mrs. Gordon Payne and son of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and two daughters, Edna Yates and Susan Schaefer.
