Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Broakans, who ihave been living on the farm owned -by Mr. and Mrs. James Bray, have moved to Philadelphia.

Mrs. Charlie Compton was an afternoon guest of Mrs. James Doyle on Thursday.

Francis Patrola and Mr. Wood of guests of Miss Virginia Tapp. Miss Julia Lawrence is on the sick list. Arlington were Thursday dinner

GUESTS OR PLEASANT VIEW

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keyser of Williamsburg were guests over the weekend of Mrs. Will Keyser and Joe Dejamett Keyser of Pleasant View. Mr. Keyser returned to Williamsburg Sunday afternoon but Mrs. Keyser remained at Pleasant View until Thursday.

BRIDGE PARTY

Mrs. Fred Schaefer was hostess to the bridge club and additional guests Friday evening. Those playing were Mrs. George L. Taylor Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Carroll Menefee, Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs John S. Davis, Mrs. C. H. H. Branch, Mrs. P. L. Thornton, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. R. E. Thompson, Miss Louise CBannon, Mrs. John P. Snead, Mrs. R. G. Quaintance, Mrs. I. R. Kilby, and Mrs Charles H. Estes.

The prize winners were Mrs. Taylor high for club members} Mrs. Wood, high for guests; Mrs. Johnson traveling; and Mrs. Winfrey low. The hostess served a salad course at the conclusion of the games.
