Miss Bessie Carder has returned home after several weeks visit with her nephew, Robert Carder and family near Culpeper. Misses Nellie Johnson, Catherine Orange and Mattie Rector, Mrs. C. * B. Johnson and Mrs. Reginald Gay were Culpeper visitors Saturday. Jimmie Falls of Texas is visiting hb wife, Mrs. Myrtle Falls at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Burke., Mrs. Raymond Berry of Washington, D. C. was guest of Miss Arizona Elkins on Monday. Mrs. Joseph Pauze was hostess for luncheon last Friday afternoon in honor of Rev. and Mrs. S. Felton Carter Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. R M. Johnson, Misses Sis and Bertha Johnson, Mrs. Lacy Orange, Mrs. C. H. Fox, Mrs. C. B. Johnson, Mrs. L. C. Quaintance, Misses Nellie Johnson, Mary Stark, Mattie Rector, Mary Updike, J. Hill O’Bannon, W. L. Yancey, Miss Annie Stephenson and Mrs. Lily Barber.
Rev. and Mrs S. Felton Carter left Tuesday for Knoxville, Tenn., where he has accepted a church.
