Samuel B. Settle of Parkersburg, w. Va., son of-the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Settle and brother of the late James M. Settle of Flint Hill, is Resident Project Engineer for the West Virginia Highway Department now building a 5 million dollar bridge across the Ohio River. It is on interstate Highway 77, fifteen miles north of Parkersburg. He graduated from Flint Hill High School and V.M.I. (class of 1922) and was a consulting engineer for nine years before joining the Highway Department in 1960. He was also design engineer for oil field equipment and TV and Microp wave towers. 5 Mr. Settle is a Fellow in the American Society of Civil Engineers and member of the Parkersburg Methodist Church and Rotary Club. %
