Land for Future Use

The first payment went this week into a revolving fund established by the 1964 General Assembly for the purchase of land needed for future road projects for which allocations are not yet available, the State Highway Department said today. The agency, after closing its books for the 1964-65 fiscal year, said $3,349,550 was left as an unappropriated balance.
