Reunion, Picnic Held At Elmer Atkins Home
An Atkins family reunion and picnic dinner was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mts. Elmer Atkins in Flint Hill. Their guests included Mr. and Mrs. Harry Berry and five children and Mrs. Clare Swocker and daughter of Harrisonburg, Mrs. Maggie Atkins of Linden, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Atkins and daughter Beverly of Sperryville, Mrs. Jonas Jenkins and daughter Betty of Washington, Roger Cochenour of Woodstock, Eddie Noakes of Rockland, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Gibbs, Tam and Kim Gibbs, Mrs. Lester Clatterbuck, Sid Foley and Mr. and Mrs. Hillard Tharp andfamily all of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clatterbuck and son, Sammie, of Flint Hill.

Mr. and Mrs. Julian Wayland of Lovettsville are receiving congratulations on the arrival of a daughter Rebecca Ellen born at Leesburg Hospital on August 18, 1965. She is their fifth child. Mr. and Mrs. J. Earle Wayland of Sperryville are the baby’s grandparents.
