Mr. and Mrs. Field Benton and son Hugh of Middlesboro, Ky. were guests from Thursday until Tuesday of Judge and Mrs. B.^M. Miller. George Davis, III has finished the summer session at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and returned Sunday to his home. Col. and Mrs. E. A. McNear of Vint Hill Station, Warrenton and Col. McNear’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Arthur McNear of Harrisburg, Pa. spent the weekend at their home Greenwood. C apt.. Richard A. McNear of Purdue University is spending several weeks leave at Vint Hill and Greenwood. Miss Connie Luckham of Irvington left Tuesday after spending a week with the Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Glaenzer at the Rectory. Miss Nancy Buntin way their guest Wednesday when they attended the Wayside Theatre in Middletown.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reid and three sons of Arlington were weekend guests of Mrs. C. G. Reid at Rose Cottage. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser spent several days last week on a trip visiting at the East ern Shore and Chincoteague Island. Mrs. Oscar Lindgren and three children and Mrs. J. N. Miller and three sons are spending this week at a beach near Tappahannock. Mr. Mil ler joined them for the weekend.
Miss Segar Jones has returned to her home after attending the summer session of Chowan College at Murfreesboro, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. Brooks Wood of Pollesville, Md. were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. George H. David, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulconer and family of Orange were Thursday over-night guests of Mrs. W. M.
