Mrs. Perle Coffey had as her guest on Thursday Mrs. Nancy Whitehead of Norfolk. George W. Brown is visit,'ing in Falls Church with his granddaughter Mrs. Gerry • Gossom and family. • Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey visited Mrs. Coffey's father Robert Nethers in the Warren Memorial Hospital Friday night. Mrs. Coffey makes frequent trips to the hospital :to be with her father. . Mrs. C. R. Hall and daughters the Misses Sharon and Connie Hall of Falls Church were recent guests of Mr. •and Mrs. J. E. Wayland. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins spent the weekend :in Williamsburg and visited mother places of interest in ;that area. Phil Hawkins spent several days last week in :Alexandria with his sister :Miss Judy Hawkins. : Mr. and Mrs. Joe Payne :of West Lafayette, Indiana, •who are spending their vacation in Madison, were guests ?on Friday of Mr. Payne's grandparents Mr. and Mrs. : J. B. Johnson. Mr. Payne is :completing work for his Ph. :D. at the University of Indiana.

Larry Wayland of Arlington was the Sunday guest of the J. E. Waylands. * ...

Mrs. H. H. Aylor and her guest Mrs. Carl Eliason spent Saturday in Bentonville with Mrs. Louise Wright. Mrs. Elia son left Wednesday to return fo her home in Illinois after visiting in the Aylor home. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne spent the weekend in Arlington with relative’s.

The Rev. A. Paul Thompson spent the weekend at Rock Villa. His family returned home to Murfreesboro, N. C. with him on Sunday after visit ing Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Browrv
