Court of Honor for

Scouts Next Week

A Court of Honor for all Boy Scouts of the Shenrapawa District will be held at Rappahannock County High School on Wednesday, November 17 at 7:30 p, m. Scouts in Shenandoah, Rappahannock, Page and Warren Counties are expected to be present with their parents. This is the regular fall Court of Honor and most oi^fche Scouts will be receiving awards at this time, with some receiving Eagle Awards. Anyone wishing to attend the Court of Honor is especially invited whether you have a scout in your family or not.

Churches Open on Veterans Day

There has been no special program for Veterans Day arranged in Rappahannock County, however, c h u r c h e s will be open for anyone wishing admittance. Washington Baptist Church will offer a program of organ music from 11 a. m. until 12 noon.

Payment of Cemetery Dues

The Sperryville Cemetery Association reminds those who have not paid their 1965 Cemetery dues that this must be done immediately. Operational costs are continuous and the association also hopes to purchase additional land for the cemetery which has almost reached its capacity.
