were overnight guests Saturday of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Glaenzer at The Rectory. Judge and Mrs. Rayner V. Snead, Bill and Mary Lib Snead spent the weekend at the Chamberlain Hotel at Old Point Comfort and visited the various historical points of interest in the vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. David Reardon of Washington, D. C. visited E. B. Cary last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Styer returned Friday to their home in the Gid Brown Hollow after spending several weeks at their home in Pas-a-Grille, Florida. On December 1 they leave for a four months’ stay in South America. Guests during the weekend of Mrs. Addle Keyser were Mrs. Phyllis Fincham of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Moffett Pullen of Flint Hill and Jimmy Riley of Amissville.

Entering Warren Memorial Hospital last week for treatment were Miss Gloria Jean Fox, Miss Norma Jean Williams and Irwin Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Elphinstone spent the weekend at their home here. Mrs. Harve Williams and Raymond Dulin visited Mrs. Nellie Kenny and Mrs. Belva Donaldson in Martinsburg, W. Va. recently. Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Williams and Mr. and Mrs. David A. Williams were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Paysure of Richmond and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Anchors of Falls Church. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Smelser and children of Browntown visited Mr. and Mrs. Hubie Gilkey Saturday night. Mrs. Everette Sells of Bealton and nephew of Seattle, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. William Linden and son Billy of Arlington visited Mr. and Mrs. Harold Davis on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Bailey and family of Falls Church spent the weekend with Mrs. Betty Williams. The Willis Chapel Methodist Church has begun rehearsals tfdr the Ghrtetmae program to be held Sunday, December 19. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leake and daughter Terry of Culpeper spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams.

Mrs. Nancy Knight of Front Royal spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Addle Wines. Mrs. Mary Frazier and Mrs. Peggy Frazier were hostesses at a Bridal Shower for Mrs. Leo Williams Saturday evening, November 6 at the Chester Gap Fire Hall. Among those present were Mrs. James Shipe and daughter, Mrs. Hildegarde Shipe, Mrs. Doris Williams, Mrs. Ella Frazier, Miss Mary Frazier, Mrs. William Ratliff and dauglv ter, Mrs. Lucy Williams, Miss Mattie Williams, Mrs. Jessie Wines, Mrs. Minnie Williams, Mrs. Myrtle North and Mrs. Ada North.

Former Ministers Heard From

Letters have been received from two former County Baptist ministers. The Rev. and Mrs. John Divers are taking an extensive language course in San Jose, Costa Rica in preparation for mission work in Argentina next year.

The Rev. and Mrs. Arnold Sorrells and family are in Yuma, Arizona where Mr.Sos rells is engaged in Home Missions work.
