The meeting of the W.S.C.S. at the home of Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. has been changed from November 25 to Thursday, November 18. The Methodist Official Board will meet Friday, November 12 at the home of Mrs. Smith. Miss Doris Daugherty was the supper and overnight guest Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller.
The Rev. and Mrs. James B. Grimmer were dinner guests Saturday of the Rev. and Mrs. Robert Braden in Brunswick Md. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker and family of Falls Church were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Cook and Bob Cook who is spending several weeks vacation with his parents.
Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Pullen were Sunday visitors of their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Pullen in Strasburg.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brady of Arlington spent Sunday with Mr. Brady's parents Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady. Robert Brady entered Warren Memorial Hospital Thursday where he remains for treatment. Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning were Mrs. Browning’s brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Luther Kay of Springfield and her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Guy Palmore of Richmond. John B. Browning of Richmond also spent the week-end with his parents.
Mrs. Thelma Russell spent last week with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Patterson Biggs in Harrisonburg. Mrs. Regina Bradford returned to Mrs. Russell’s home on Sunday after spending the week with Mr. and Mrs. R jy Davis at Frederick, Md. Guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers were Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank, Mr., Mrs. F. D. Coffey and Mrs. Catherine Brown of Sperryville.
