Mr. and Mrs. Robert Atkins and Mr. aod Mrs. Hugh Atkins, Jr. and children of Chester, Pa. spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Atkins.
Recent guests of Mrs. J, H. Daily were Mr. and Mrs. William Claggett of Newark, Ohio. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cook and son Robert Cook of Castleton and Mrs. Bessie Martin of Elkton. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar had as their week-end guests their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. William Cloe, Jr. of Stafford. Mr. ancl Mrs. Richard Comp ton of Arlington, Mrs. C. C. Carder of Culpeper were Sunday afternoon callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Johnson. Mr. and -Mrs. Maury W. Brown were over-night guests Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow in Culpeper. On Sunday guests in the Brown home were Mrs. E. W. Gore and Mrs. Helen Bruce. Mrs. Gladys Anderson and her sons, David, Jr. and Bill Anderson spent the weekend in W. Va. and Maryland with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chap man went to Richmond Sunday for a week’s stay with their son and daughter-inlaw Mr. and Mrs. David Chap man, Jr. Miss Judy Hawkins with a party of friends from Arling. ton enjoyed a picnic luncheon on Sunday at “Chilton Place” near Slate Mills. Miss Mary Helen Bruce of Richmond spent the week-end at Barlow with her mother Mrs Helen Bruce and the Gore family. Another week-end guest was Miss Sara Gore of Reva. Mrs. Harry Smith of Washington, D. C. spent last week with Mrs. Perle Coffey and on Saturday evening they had dinner with George W. Brown. Mrs. Helen Bruce, Mrs. E. W. Gore and Mrs. Earle Wayland visited the Osborne family in Gainesville on Tuesday.
