Herman F. Dodson
Herman F. Dodson, 27, died Tuesday, November 2, 1965 in Barberton, Ohio. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dodson of Washington, Virginia. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Mrs. Vicki Dodson and one daughter, Catherine Marie; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Dodson of 646 Plum Avenue, Akron 5, Ohio and Mrs. Shirley Barfield of Culpeper. A funeral service was held Friday at 1:30 p. m. at the Campbell-Hickman F uneral Home, Barberton, with the Rev. C. L. Gardner officiating.
Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Bertha Peyton
Mrs. Bertha Lean Peyton, 71, of Amissville died November 7, 1965 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. She was the widow of Wesley Ney Peyton, and the daughter of the late Robert H. Thompson and Mary Alice Grigsby. A funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Amissville with the Rev. Lawrence Ford officiating. Interment was in the Grigsby family cemetery. Surviving Mrs. Peyton are two daughters, Emma Rebecca Morton of Warrenton and Kathleen Williams, Amissville; two sisters, Rebecca Washington and Helen Jeanette Monton, both Warrenton; two brothers, Robert H. Thompson of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Landy F. Thompson of Washington, D. C.
