Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Barron

Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Barron of Viewtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Camilla Sue, to Francis Wen* dell Latham, Jr., son of Mrs. W. R. Bowen and the late Mr. Latham of Amissville. Miss Barron is a 1965 gradu> ate of Culpeper County High School. Mr. Latham is a 1961 graduate of Culpeper County High School and was graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Blacksburg in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education. He is presently teaching at C. T. Smith High School at Ladysmith.

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Attig of Newport News were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Madden at their home “Wind Song." C. J. Ireland is in Camden, S. C. this week attending the National Foxhunters Association Field Trials. Dinner guests last Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. McDaniel were Mr. McDaniel’s mother Mrs. Pearl Orndorf and his sister Mrs. Obrey Allen, both of Alexandria. Sunday afternoon guests were Mrs. McDaniel's brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs, Raymond Coughlin of Culpepen Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Weaver were their son Jack Weaver and his son Gary of Alexandria and Mr. and Mrs. George Tidier of Slate Mills. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Baker and sons of New Salem moved last Wednesday to Sylvania Heights, Fredericksburg. Mr. Baker was transferred by the highway department last July to the Survey department at Dumfries. Mrs. Jackie Butler of Temple Hills, Md. was a Wednesday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Butler and family. Sunday dinner guests were Mrs. Frank Butler and Miss Faye Burke. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Carpenter and daughter of Hot Springs were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. Carpenter’s brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Donald Carpenter and family of New Salem.
