Mrs. J. Lester Burke left Dulles Airport Saturday by jet for London. She will spend several weeks visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Burt at Boston, Lines, England, Miss Doris Daugherty with Miss Gae Hammer of Fredericksburg spent the week-end with Miss Hammer’s parents in Elkins, W. Va. and attended the U. of West Virginia-V.P.l. football game Saturday inMorgan town. Mrs. Thomas Howie of Staunton was the week-end guest of Judge and Mrs. T. C. Lea and family at Green Back Farm. Miss Annie Cooksey was a guest several days this week of Mrs. C. J. Moss in Amissville. ■ Mrs. Mary Waller and Mrs. James M. Settle of Front Royal were visitors Wednesday afternoon of Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Keyser. Mrs. W. M. Fletcher was a visitor two days last week in Washington, D. C. Mrs. Harold Faulconer of Orange was her luncheon guest on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller were over-night guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. F, M. baumgaroner in Annandale and aicended the International Horse Show at the National Guard Armory in Washington, D. C. Mr. and Mr6. C. J. Miller returned home the middle of the week after several days visit with their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Vaughan and family in Ridgewood, N. J. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keyser spent Thursday and Friday in Williamsburg where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lort Nightengale-and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Jr. They visited friends in Virginia Beach and returned home via the Chesapeake Bay Tunnel and Bridge and the eastern shore. . The Rev. and Mrs. James R. Bryant of Richmond were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones. Mr. Bryant conducted the service Sunday morning at the Washing ton Baptist Church.
