Wrecks Reported
Herbert Dukes, Jr. of Milford, Del. was not injured Monday morning when he was involved in a single vehicle crash. According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, Dukes was operating a 59 Plymouth when he ran off the road on a curve and crashed through a fence on Route 211 three miles west of Amissvilie. He was charged w4*h fai' *«ag/rf> keep his vehicle under control. The car was a total loss, estimated at $500.
At 8:30 a.m. November 5 on Route 642 between Amissvilie and Viewtown, Miss Becky Cooper of Viewtown ran off the road into a ditch. The accident was apparently caused ay a flat tire, said Trooper Buntin, and no charges were made. Miss Cooper was driving a Mores-Minor owned by her fathe r Allen Cooper. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $ 100.
Garden Club Will Meet At Rose Hill
The Rappahannock Garden Club will meet on November 17 with Mrs. W. C. Hall at Rose ! Hill. Instead of the scheduled! program this meeting will be a workshop and plans will be made for the annual “greens” sale. Work can begin now on articles to be sold, other than greens, and all members are asked to bring materials with which to work.
