Mrs. Karl Kauffman of Suffolk was an overnight guest Sunday of her aunt, Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and Mr. and M rs. Harry Gallihugh. Mrs. Kauffman visited Mrs. Festus Hudson on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Raper and granddaughter Kem Raper spent the weekend at their country home here. Allen Lillard of Sperryville was a guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lillard. Mrs. Watts Weakley, Mrs. Gilbert Weakley, Mrs. Randolph Jenkins and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh were in Fredericksburg last week shopping for a piano for Bethlehem Methodist Church. They were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Jenkins there.
Eilene Lillard is to be congratulated for her splendid participation in basketball at Madison County High School. She was captain of the team and high scorer for the season.
