The Virginia BCIA test was started in the fall of 1958, and has operated continuously testing some 700 bulls of which 570 have sold for an average price of $605, says Eller. The Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises managed by C. Leece George is in charge of feeding and caring for the bulls on test. The test and sale is under the auspices of the Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association and su pervised by Eller.
