“The holiday season Is over,* Joe McDaniel, president of the TB and Health Association of Northern Virginia said, "but our association's work goes on all year long." He explained that new tuberculin tests are being tried to obtain a quicker reaction than tests in current use to find the tuberculosis germ. From Dr. Dan Morse of Peoria, Illinois TB sanatorium, news has come that “new tuberculosis germs have emerged m recent years, so numerous that they defy classification." Meanwhile testing facilities areN'being provided and research conducted in the field of other respiratory diseases, particularly emphysema. "All of these facts have a bearing on our local problem," Mr. McDaniel said, "and our program for assisting in case finding and adequate facilities for patients is constantly changing and advancing to meet the current situations; All of this tal^es funds and we are grateful for contributions regardless of size, all year round.
