Rev. Ledford C Vaughan
The Rev. Ledford C. Vaughan of Crozetdied Sunday,January 9, 1966. He was 60 years old, and had been a minister for 38 years. He was serving as pastor of the Crozet Methodist Church at the time of his death. Among former pastorates Mr. Vaughan had held were Rappahannock, Powhatary Amelia, Fluvanna, Greensand Culpeper. ^ Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie Laurie Eubank Vaughan, his mother, Mrs. Mary Mayhew Vaughan of Bedford; a son, the Rev. Ledford C. Vaughan, Jr. of Chesapeake; and a sister, Mrs. J. Clyde! Morris of Newport News. A funeral service was held Tuesday at noon at the Crozet!

Mrs. Edna Kelly and Mrs. Virginia Simpson enroute, to Florida from their home in Newark, Ohio were over night guests Monday of Mrs. J. Harvey Daily. Other guests during the weekend were Clarence Moyer, Miss Catherine Moyer of Luray and Mr. and Mrs. Woodward of Warrenton. Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madison was a visitor Sunday of her mother, Mrs. J. B. Johnson and her brother-in-law and isister, Mr. and Mrs. Fred jW. Schaefer. Guests during the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. M.W. Brown were M/Sgt. M.W. Brown, Jr., and son Michael of Langley AFB, Paul Dockins and sons Ranny and Rodney of Fairfax. Carson Johnson joined the men for hunting. Dinner guests Wednesday evening of the Browns were Mrs. J. B. Perkins, Mrs. A. Perkins, Cindy and Doug Cumins. James Ashby and Aubrey Burchville were Monday dinner guests of the Browns. Mrs. .EsUev Coffey.-Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey and son Frank and Jam es Ashby were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Rector in Marshall. Mrs. Gladys Anderson and sons David and Bill and Bobby Clater were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Larry Oden in Sharpsburg, Md. and Mrs. HarryMartin in W. Va. Visiting Mr. andMrs. Robert W. Brown for the weekend was I their daughter Miss Carolyn Brown of Arlington.
