The affairs of the Shenandoah Valley Educational Television Corporation are managed by a 25 member Board of Directors who represent the membership. The Corporation has been working in close co-ordination with the Governors Advisory Council on Educational Television, and has its full authorization and support. The planning for the new Valley area television facility represents the coordinated effort of the two organizations inorder to assure complete compatibility with the overall state plan for the development of educational television. There ard educational television stations on the air in Hampton (WHRO-TV), Washington (WETA-TV) and Richmond (WCVE-TV).
