Delegate Tom Frost, who represents Rappahannock County in the House of Delegates of the Virginia General Assembly, invites and Welcomes anyone from this county to visit him in Richmond during this term of the Assembly which convened Wednesday.
Calendar of Events?
Suggestions have been made to this office that a calendar of scheduled events, activities meetings, etc., time and place, in the county be published. If the various organizations are sufficiently interested and will supply the necessary information in time for publication we will be happy to institute this service.
Book Fair
Results Gratifying
, The Library Board was gratified at the response to its first Book Fair and wishes to thank all who cooperated in its success. It is hoped that another year one may be held earlier ill the Christmas season in order to be of greater assistance in the selection of gift books. The second showing of Religious Art by young artists of the Washington, D. C. area received much favorable-comment by patrons and visitors to the Library. It was a privilege to have this fine exhibition which is designed to stimulate greater interest and appreciation of art among young people; to provide greater recognition and motivation among student artists; and to foster its use in home*, schools, religious institutions and in the market place.
