Effective January 17, the Winchester District Office of the Social Security Administration will be located at 20 South Cameron Street. In making this announcement,' Mrs. Hazel F. Daly, District Manager, stated, “We anticipate that our more spacious quarters will enable us to provide more efficient service to the public and will facilitate our daily operations.” “Although we have representatives visiting the outlying areas, we urge those persons who can conveniently do so, to visit the District Office,” Mrs. Daly said. "Since more interviewers are available, we are able to provide more prompt service in the District Office.” Anyone having questions re garding any phase of social security , is invited to visit the office at the new location. Ample free parking is available at the rear of the building. The office is open to the public 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
